Yesterday we awoke to what, in any other winter, would not have been a surprise: Snow. Heaps of it! And still coming down! As stunningly beautiful as it was, there was a touch of worry as to whether or not the dramatic weather would keep folks from attending our open rehearsal community event. As the day went on, however, the plows roamed the streets, the salt was strewn, and by showtime there was a nice warm group to enjoy the first full run-through of Daniel’s lovely new work. Just before the show, Ronnie and I took a few minutes of downtime to check out the newly snow-dressed grounds. After the show we all got together in the kitchen and had a ball cooking a tremendous dinner for ourselves. A fine night. Off to NYC today! Jitney-ho.
